A good development plan should be inward-facing, as well as outward-facing. It should examine your organization’s:

INWARD:

  • Board: housekeeping and objectives
  • Staff: structure and goals
  • Data: collection and reporting, the how and the what

OUTWARD:

  • Donors: current and prospective
  • Tactics: cultivation and stewardship
  • Metrics: program and organizational

A refreshed and recently reviewed development plan is the hallmark of any robust, forward-moving organization!

About Me

My name is Carolyn Caldwell, and I am a Grant Writer and Consultant. I am founder of the Raising Awareness Raising Funds LLC. My mission is to “Shine a light on the good work you do.”
My Grant Writing consulting business grew out of my background in fundraising events, journalism, and my skills in research and writing. Raising Awareness, Raising Funds’ emphasis in health and human services, education, and community development gives me a chance to work for the betterment of the causes that are closest to my heart.
Among the many grants awarded through my work with Columbus-based, regional and national agencies, I am pleased to announce that I won a National Endowment for the Arts grant for the Columbus Museum of Art! I am personally fulfilled knowing my work helped an exemplary non-profit I care deeply about! Read more at http://www.raisingawarenessraisingfunds.com/
