I’m conducting Funder Prospect Research in a sector new to me, and it’s fascinating! I’m learning about a different part of the world, and the challenges that people face there. Grant writing demands that you become a “content expert,” and the opportunity for personal and professional growth that the work gives you — as part of the job — is what I love most about it.

Grant writing offers me a continual feed of new people, places, facts, technology, ideas, and ways of doing things. It’s never the same-old, same-old. Learning, growing, and adjusting, is what I do all day, I am thankful to say! You have to be constantly curious, I believe, or you will just shrivel up and die.

About Me

My name is Carolyn Caldwell, and I am a Grant Writer and Consultant. I am founder of the Raising Awareness Raising Funds LLC. My mission is to “Shine a light on the good work you do.”
My Grant Writing consulting business grew out of my background in fundraising events, journalism, and my skills in research and writing. Raising Awareness, Raising Funds’ emphasis in health and human services, education, and community development gives me a chance to work for the betterment of the causes that are closest to my heart.
Among the many grants awarded through my work with Columbus-based, regional and national agencies, I am pleased to announce that I won a National Endowment for the Arts grant for the Columbus Museum of Art! I am personally fulfilled knowing my work helped an exemplary non-profit I care deeply about! Read more at http://www.raisingawarenessraisingfunds.com/
